Accessibility isn't
a checkbox for us.
It's personal.

The Toy Cartel was founded by Jackie & Jasper in 2023. We bring professional expertise and lived experience to every project.

We've seen what it looks like when design leaves people out — and we're here to change that.

↓ what we believe
  1. I.Humble and non-judgmental.
  2. II.No gatekeeping. We pass on what we know.
  3. III.Purpose-driven, not compliance-driven.
  4. IV.Nothing about them, without them.

Where we focus

We work with people who already care,
and want to make it real.

Our clients are NFPs, allied health organisations, government departments, and SMEs that have already decided accessibility matters. Our job is to show them what's possible — and then help them build it.

We work across the whole arc from first conversation through to delivered solution. We do this because piecemeal accessibility work — an audit here, a checklist there — rarely creates lasting change.

We are accessible about accessibility. We don't gatekeep. We meet you where you are.
↻ how we keep ourselves honest
Contrast If a colour pairing fails accessibility, we change the design rather than defend the palette.
Clarity If an illustration or layout muddies the point, we simplify until the idea lands cleanly.
Tone We avoid making accessibility feel like a test people have already failed.
Language We cut words when they add effort without adding meaning.
